1. Find out if your building uses heavy oil

Use our Spot the Soot tool to see if you live or work in a building that uses No. 6 or No. 4 oil.

2. Contact your building’s leadership

If your building uses heavy oil, ask your building owner, manager or board about their plans for converting to a cleaner fuel.
